Yellow Frame Award for sustainable development, science and education

December 16, 2021 – The prestigious award ceremony YELLOW FRAME for sustainable development, science and education was held in Zagreb yesterday, as part of the Sustainable Croatia project awarded by National Geographic Croatia magazine and Adria Media Zagreb to recognize deserving individuals, associations, companies and institutions in Croatia which contribute to sustainability the most.

We are proud that our dedicated work and our expertise in the field of nature and environment protection have been recognized by receiving the Yellow Frame Award 2021 in category 12: Sustainable consumption and production, running up against two strong nominees in this category – Nestlé Croatia – Choose Green and INA – Green Belt.

Sustainable consumption and production is the 12th of 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. It encourages more sustainable consumption and production patterns through various measures, including specific policies and international agreements on the management of materials that are toxic to the environment, as well as sustainable management and use of natural resources and encouraging companies to adopt sustainable practices and sustainability reporting.

The award was accepted by Oikon director Dalibor Hatić and Andreja Pavlović, Head of Department for Nature Protection and Landscape Architecture.
