Scientific paper on Zrinjevac Park in Zagreb

9th January 2018 − Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square in Zagreb, also known as Zrinjevac, is one of the most beautiful and famous Zagreb squares, officially opened in 1873 and part of the so called Lenuci’s horseshoe – a group of seven Zagreb squares and the Botanical Garden.

Head of our Department of Natural Resources Management Alen Berta, PhD, is one of the authors of a scientific paper titled “Comparison of Lidar and Field Data Survey in Measuring Tree Height in Urban Areas” (link) that was just published in New Forestry Mechanisation journal. The paper shows a procedure of processing Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data collected by airborne laser scanning (ALS) for the urban vegetation area of Zagreb – the Zrinjevac Park.
