September 25, 2019 – Our colleague Ivona Žiža participated in the 9th Advanced Training Course on Land Remote Sensing: Agriculture.
The five-day training was held in Louvain-la-Neuve (Universite catholique de Louvain) in Belgium 16 – 20 September 2019.
For the first time this year, ESA has focused on one area only – Agriculture. Through this education, Ivona learned more about the use of Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery data for crop mapping, vegetation index calculations, nitrogen and soil moisture estimations and irrigation.
