15th November 2017 − Edin Lugić, Head of Nature Protection Division at Oikon, is participating in the 2nd Mediterranean Natura 2000 Seminar that is taking place 14-16 November in Limassol, Cyprus. We are proud to say that he is one of 16 other experts from the EU that was invited to the event.
The 2nd Mediterranean Natura 2000 Seminar is a part of the Natura 2000 Biogeographical Process which was launched by the European Commission in 2011 with the aim to improve and strengthen the implementation of Natura 2000. It provides an important opportunity for participants to improve and strengthen the implementation of Natura 2000 in the Region and ensure progress towards the EU 2020 Biodiversity Strategy targets.
The event is hosted by the Terra Cypria, the Cyprus conservation foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development & Environment of Cyprus.
