May 29, 2024 – Last Friday, we celebrated the Day of Oikon and Pro Silva – DOPS. This annual tradition, now in its eighth year, is a celebration of our companies’ achievements, camaraderie, and the accomplishments of our team. Filled with socializing, sporting activities, dancing, and endless laughter, DOPS is a day we all look forward to.
In his speech, Oikon’s director, Dalibor Hatić, praised the hard work of the entire team, highlighted our remarkable accomplishments over the past year, and offered a glimpse into our strategic plans for the future.
We then honoured our top-performing employees for their exceptional contributions in 2023. Every year, the award selection process is rigorous, involving nominations from employees and a thorough evaluation by a committee comprising department heads and a representative of the employees.
We are happy to present the best employees of 2023:
- Tonko Megyery was awarded “The Explorer” for his relentless pursuit of new directions and innovative progress within the company.
- Lucija Končurat, who consistently goes above and beyond, received “The Force” award, embodying strength and dedication.
- Gordana Iskrić, known for her infectious positivity and joy, was honoured with the “Our Inspiration” award for spreading happiness to us all.
- Stjepan Ključar earned the “Full Cool” award for his remarkable composure and calmness, even in the face of challenges.
- Professor Vladimir Kušan was presented with “The Teacher” award, celebrating his generous sharing of knowledge and experience for the benefit of younger generations.
- Matija Plantosar took home “The Rock” award for his loyalty and support, a true pillar for his colleagues through thick and thin.
- Dorian Tepić received the “Outside the Box” award, recognizing his innovative and unconventional thinking that sparks breakthroughs and new ideas.
- Branimir Radun, head of the Department of Natural Resource Management, was honoured with the “King Pin” award for his outstanding leadership and contribution.
- With the highest number of nominations across all categories, Ivona Žiža deservedly took home the “Our Best” award, proving her exceptional skills and the influence she has in the team.
- Ivana Lampek Pavčnik and Vesna Kutnjak, our external associates, received the director’s special recognition for their contributions to the company.
