May 20, 2025 – Oikon team participated in the “New Capabilities and Countries in European Space Conference”, organised by the European Space Agency (ESA). The conference was held on 14–15 May at ESA’s Centre for Earth Observation (ESRIN) in Frascati, Italy.
Our representatives, Dr. Ivan Tomljenović, Dr. Ivan Tekić, Bruno Ćaleta, and Luka Raspović, actively participated in the conference, presenting Oikon’s achievements in ESA-funded projects and other key initiatives related to the development and application of space technologies, with a focus on remote sensing for environmental protection.
The event gathered around 300 participants – representatives of space agencies, scientific institutions, and companies from across Europe – and provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and initiating new collaborations with organisations active in space technologies and satellite data applications.
The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe’s leading institution for space research, satellite system development, and international space cooperation. Oikon has been successfully collaborating with ESA for several years on various projects in the field of environmental monitoring, satellite data use, and development of remote sensing tools.
