April 13, 2018, Vienna – Head of Department of Natural Resources Management Alen Berta, PhD is presenting today at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2018 the results of the project “Application of high resolution multi-spectral satellite images in determining the degree of productivity and age of uneven age forest stands of forest owners in the Mediterranean and sub-Mediterranean”.
The conference covers various topics related to geosciences and remote sensing.
Over the past five days there have been 550 oral and 1,000 poster presentations per day, and there have been as many scientists from all over the world present at the conference as there are scientists in total in Croatia.
Croatia has had 20 presentations mostly related to geology and hydrology.
