July 12, 2024 – The International Conference of Environmental Remote Sensing and GIS (ICERS) was held in Zagreb on July 11-12, 2024. Oikon, serving as a gold sponsor, joined 150 experts and enthusiasts at the event. Participants shared the latest advancements in remote sensing and GIS technologies, focusing on their applications in combating climate change, promoting sustainable development, and managing resources.
Among the attendees were Oikon’s experts: Ivona Žiža, Ivan Tomljenović, PhD, and Branimir Radun who presented Oikon at the conference. Branimir showcased Oikon’s expertise and projects related to remote sensing, Earth Observation, and GIS, including recent European Space Agency (ESA) projects and the comprehensive project of mapping coastal and benthic marine habitats in Croatia.
The conference was organized by the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Geodesy.
