May 9, 2024 – The second prestigious GAME CHANGER AWARDS 2024 ceremony for the achievements and contribution of Croatian companies and start-ups to innovation and digital transformation took place last night in Zagreb.
OIKON is the proud winner of the “EcoTech Progress of the Year” award as a company that has made great achievements and contributions to digital transformation in the field of nature and environmental protection and is a “game changer” in its field of business.

At Oikon, we believe in the power of technology and innovation and their role in positively changing the world we live in. Through the use of space technologies and other innovative methods, we at Oikon are successfully achieving our mission – to protect the environment, sustainably manage natural resources and preserve natural and cultural heritage. This ‘EcoTech Progress of the Year’ award is not only a symbol of our efforts and commitment, but also a confirmation that we are on the right track,” said Dalibor Hatić, Director of Oikon, and Dr Ivan Tomljenović, Head of the Oikon Institute.
In addition to Oikon, awards were presented in 14 other categories. Congratulations to all award winners and the organisers for a great evening and for spearheading this initiative. It’s a recognition of the meaningful impact the winners are making on digital transformation and towards a better future.
The Game Changer project aims to humanise technology, introduce new technologies and make the most of the changes to come. It is a platform for creative professionals from different industries to come together and create new possibilities. The award ceremony will be followed by the Game Changer conferences in Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro.
