October 30, 2025 – At the Green Energy Fair Zagreb, our colleague and environmental expert Zoran Poljanec took part in the panel “Agrosolars and Aquasolars: The Energy That Feeds Us”.
In an excellent discussion moderated by Ana-Marija Špicnagel, in addition to Zoran Poljanec, the panel also included Associate Professor Ninoslav Holjevac (FER), Professor Marko Karoglan (Faculty of Agronomy), Professor Goran Krajačić (FSB), and Marina Prusina (EnergoVizija). Together, they agreed that such solutions are crucial for Croatia’s sustainable future.
“Solar panels on fields and water are certainly welcome, but I hope their use will not be limited in advance by the new Spatial Planning Act, which could slow down, if not stop, the development of such projects, without allowing for a real assessment of their impact on the environment and nature,” said Zoran.
