Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment Study for Changes and Additions (VI.) of the Šibenik-Knin County Spatial Plan, included:
(1) overview of the contents and the main objectives of the Changes and Additions (VI.) of Šibenik-Knin County Spatial Plan and its relation to other relevant plans and programmes as well as international treaties and agreements;
(2) the relevant aspects of the current state of the environment and the likely evolution thereof without implementation of the Plans Changes and Additions
(3) description of the environmental characteristics of the area likely to be significantly affected by the implementation of the Plan and any existing environmental problems which are relevant to the Plan,
(4) description of the likely significant effects on the environment (soils and agricultural land, forests and forestry, sea and freshwaters, biodiversity, protected areas, landscape, cultural heritage, waste, population and human health – noise and air quality),
(5) Appropriate Assessment (Nature Impact Assessment on Natura 2000) – analysis of impact and mitigation measures for Natura 2000 conservation objectives (Special Protected Areas, Sites of Community Interests, Sites of Community Interests – Marine),
(6) proposal of the environmental protection measures and monitoring program,
(7) public consultation
(8) participation in the Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment procedure.
