11th June 2018 − four of Oikon’s experts have just completed the five-day TAT 2018 international training “Integration of Radar and Optical Remote Sensing in Studying Land Cover/Land Use Change”, hosted by University of Zagreb.
Ivona Žiža, Nela Jantol, Davor Korman and Alen Berta, PhD, attended the lectures and training activities of the Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT) to learn about the evaluation of ecosystems (e.g. forest disturbances, agricultural land changes and abandonment) by using different types of sensors.
At the training, the leading experts from Europe and USA presented and discussed the state-of-the-art advanced methods of Earth observation, as well as the technologies, tutorials and data from ESA and NASA missions and the participants had the chance to practically exercise them within hands-on training.
