January 31, 2020 – As part of the project “Improving Visitor Capacity for the Sustainable Management of Medvednica Nature Park” led by Oikon, two workshops were held today to help develop the Bicycle Development Strategy and the Visitor Management Study at Medvednica Nature Park.
In the coming months, additional workshops will be held with various stakeholders, such as associations of cyclists and hikers, as well as various institutions and administrations. They will give us a complete overview of the situation as well as their wishes and needs.
Oikon collaborates on the project with professor Ivan Martinić, PhD from the Faculty of Forestry at University of Zagreb and two associations: “Cyclists’ Union” from Zagreb and “Green Osijek” from Osijek.
