September 19, 2022 – The 5th European and Regional Conference on Environmental Impact Assessment titled “Environmental assessments and the European Green Deal ’22”, organized by the Croatian Association of Nature and Environment Professionals (HUSZPO), with OIKON as the main sponsor, took place 14th – 17th September 2022 in Vodice, Croatia.
It is the most important conference in the field of nature and environmental protection in the region which brought together over 300 participants and we are very proud to have contributed with 32 presentations – 19 oral and 13 posters on nature and environmental protection, natural resource management, EU taxonomy, environmental law and more, proving our position of a leading consultancy and research institute in the field of nature and environmental protection in the region. Oikon’s director Dalibor Hatić also participated in a constructive panel discussion on biodiversity and the priorities of management of Natura2000 areas.
We were happy to meet our colleagues from Croatia and abroad and to share our experiences and ideas on sustainability and green development. Congratulations to the organizers and participants on another excellent and productive conference. We are already looking forward to the next one!
